EcoCord Types

JMS Biotech offers EcoCord in different configurations to suit site conditions, flow patterns, and treatment objectives.

Standard EcoCord

Standard EcoCord is the core product and can be designed according to the needs of the project in the required shape, size, and configuration. It is used as suspended biofilm media in tanks, drains, channels, and contained treatment zones, where it provides a stable surface for beneficial microorganisms to colonize and support biological treatment. Depending on the application, EcoCord can be customized to match site-specific depth, flow behaviour, pollutant loading, and surface area requirements.

Curtain-Type EcoCord

Curtain-Type EcoCord is configured in rows or panel formations to create a larger treatment interface within flowing or in-situ systems. This type is suitable where increased surface area is required to improve contact between polluted water and the active biofilm, making it effective for lakes, channels, and flowing water applications.

Framed EcoCord Modules

Framed EcoCord Modules are mounted within structural support frames for easier deployment, retrieval, and maintenance. This format is particularly suitable for lakes, ponds, and larger treatment systems where installation stability, modularity, and ease of handling are important.
